I love this time of year …hot summer days replaced with cooler, often wet days but interwoven with brilliant blue skies and a breeze perfect for drying my washing. As the evenings quietly close in, wood piles grow high and of course the walnut harvest brings bags of nuts to complement a fairytale of mushrooms spread across tables in the market, I’m beginning to think I may never get down to work!
