Despite the optimism of the president, commentators on the France 24 interview are unanimous: the crisis is not over. Perhaps the president’s team might find the video below illuminating. For it draws some highly disturbing parallels from 1929 with how Europe and the developed world have suffered since the bankers and their political fellow travellers, cavalierly crashed the global economy in 2007/8.
