Le Pen Still Dogged by ‘Fascist’ Taunts

Despite national polls suggesting that the “right of the right” Front National, led by Marine Le Pen, is set to make significant inroads in terms of seats at the forthcoming European and municipal elections in France, the party remains a hate symbol for many on the Left.

Here in the US the charge of “fascist” leveled against the Tea Party movement….or conservatives generally….by the left have by and large successfully been defeated.
“Progressives” or Social Democrats (as you know them in the EU) have repeatedly and relentlessly leveled that accusation FOR YEARS.
All it took was for a “progressive” to get elected to the White House and essentially start acting like one.
We discovered that socialists or neo-socialists share a large amount of commonality with national socialists…..including a Hitler-like intolerance of political ideas that differ from their own dogma.
