Oh Doctor My Petunia’s In Trouble It Goes Boom Boody-Boom Boody-Boom Boody-Boom
Her service may not be part of France’s deservedly famous national health service, but then the friendly plant doctor helping Parisians with their sickening petunias is dispensing free from her ‘surgery’ at Porte de Clignancourt.
As the My Little Paris website reports Mama Petula fills a gap for those Parisians who along with their regular local GP , already have “an animal doctor (vet), a computer doctor (geek), and a heartache doctor (chocolate)” by offering her services as a “plant doctor”.
Mama Petula, you see treats flowers. You, despairing perhaps about all that winter smog, bring her your wilted, sore, tired, and droopy pot plants, and she wakes them up with a few drops of fertilizer, water and a goodly dose of her grandmother’s well kept secrets. And while you are there you might also be persuaded to choose a companion for your pampered but under performing window pots, from the selection of pink, blue, yellow, spotted, rare, precious, resistant flowers she has on offer once a month at the Recyclerie. Her surgery is in her truck on the market pitch at 83 Blvd Ornano 75018. Métro Porte de Clignancourt.

The headline is a reference to this Peter Sellers/Sophie Loren hit of the 60s:
The lyrics can be found here:
Her: Oh doctor, I’m in trouble
Him:Well, goodness gracious me!
Her:For every time a certain man
Is standing next to me
Her:A flush comes to my face
And my pulse begins to race
It goes boom boody-boom boody-boom boody-boom
Boody-boom boody-boom boody-boom-boom-boom
… and so on.
